Pailas-Fumarolas

This is the area with more volcanic activity can be seen in Guanacaste. Find hot springs, sulphurous lakes, fumaroles, geysers, natural steam bath, and small volcanoes in constant eruption, as well as flora and fauna that will see all around. It takes about 2 hours round trip from the ranger station.

Laguna Azul (crabs)

It is a waterfall with 90 feet high whose lagoon is totally blue due to copper in the water. You can swim and relax in this beautiful natural paradise. Access is by foot and takes 1:30 hours to get from the ranger station.

The hidden waterfall

There are three falls about 210 feet. Its waters are pure and clear and you can see the lake bottom three meters deep. These waterfalls are located in the southwestern part of the slope of the active crater with about 3,600 meters above the sea level. It takes two hours to get from the ranger station.
