AQUETZALLY SPA

Aquetzally Spa was created in an attempt to make our facilities even more relaxing.

Here you can enjoy different and unique treatments that use the region’s natural products. The spa is in the vicinity of the Colorado river and the Rincón de La Vieja Volcano.

Our services are offered from 12:00 p.m. To 5:00 p.m., however, we can work around your schedule when booking a service in advance. Among the services that we offer are:

Among or new services, we have Pailas.

This relaxing package includes:

  • Mud application
  • Use of the spa’s pools
  • Half an hour massage
  • Use of turkish bath, sauna, or both.

Massages

Volcanic Hot Stones:

This massage mixes the relaxing heat of the stones with the experienced hands of our therapists. It is recommended after a long hike, adventure day or just to relieve your tired muscles.

Time: 1 hour

Relaxation Massage:

As it name says, it is massage that focuses in providing a mental and physical relaxation, helped with the river and forest sounds as well as our therapists’ hands.

Time: 1 hour

Back Massage:

This massage focuses on back, neck and shoulders muscles. It uses a special technique to obtain a fast relieve of the areas affected for tension and tiredness.

Time: 30 minutes

Deep Tissue:

This technique includes stretching together with strong pressure in the muscles which are generally relaxed.

Time: 1 hour

Bamboo Massage:

This massage helps the lymphatic system to send toxins free as the same time it provides muscle relaxation. The massage is performed with bamboo sticks and the therapists´ hands .

Time: 1 hour.
Facials

Collagen Vail Facial:

Collagen is one of the most common elements used in beauty treatments, it helps hydration and revitalization of the skin. This treatment is recommended for all skin types and ages and it makes you feel pretty relaxed along the time it takes.

The treatment has three steps:

  • Face Cleaning
  • Vaporization Massage and
  • Veil application

Time: 45 minutes

Mini Facial:

This is the basic facial, it will help your skinb to be revitalized and recovered. It also has three steps:

  • Facial Scrub
  • Hydration Massage
  • Refreshing Mask

Body Scrubs

Volcanic Sand and Almond Oil Body Scrub:

This treatment is excellent for all skin types since its main benefit is to eliminate death cells and to allow a better oxygenation giving as a result a smooth and lit appearance.

It has three steps:

Tropical Fruits and Sugar Body Scrub:

The mixture of pineapple, orange, coconut, cinnamon and sugar work perfectly providing a deep skin cleaning, giving a delightful smell and freshness to your body. It also has three steps:

Body Wraps

Aloe Vera and Cucumber Body Wrap:

This wrap is excellent for sensitive skins as well as those which have been exposed to sun rays for long periods of time, insect bites or allergies. One of its benefits is its calming property that relieves the skin almost immediately. It has three steps :

Volcanic Mud Body Wrap

Volcanic mud has good quantity of minerals and oligoelements with medicinal and beauty properties which will give your body desintoxification, nurturing and relaxation results.

Linseed Body Wrap
