LODGING RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICITES

Processing a Reservation

  • All reservations must be sent in written for directly to the hotel.
  • Requested reservation confirmations are subject to availability. The bedding configuration is not guaranteed.
  • Change of name of the reservation within the penalty period will be considered cancellations by the hotel. The operator in the case much send a new reservation and this will be subject to availability.
  • We do not accept pets except for seeing-eye dogs for people with special needs.
  • Smoking is not allowed in any of our rooms

Last Minute Reservations

For reservations made between 29 and 9 days prior to arrival, the hotel will allow 3 days to process payment, once the reservation is confirmed. For reservations made 8 days or less prior to arrival, the hotel will allow 48 hours to process payment, once the reservation is confirmed. Payments not completed within this time period will be cancelled immediately.

PAYMENT POLICIES

FITS (individuals) All reservations must be paid in their entirety no less than 15 days prior to guests’ arrival. Otherwise they must be backed by a voucher or credit card in accordance with a negotiation with the hotel.

Group Policies

All reservations must be paid in their entirety no less than 30 days prior to guests’ arrival. Groups are considered to be 5 double rooms or more.

Blackouts

Blackout dates will be maintained for up to 30 days prior to arrival date, from that date forward, the date will automatically be released.

LODGING CANCELLATION POLICIES

All cancelations must be sent in writing to the hotel, awaiting confirmation in written format on behalf of our company for it to be considered effective.

When accidental or unfortunate circumstances occur, the hotel is not held responsible.

No Show

When the guest does not arrive at the hotel on the reserved date and the hotel has not been informed, the reservation will be charged in its entirety.
Cancellations due to emergency situations will be analyzed based on the criteria of the General Manger and evidence shown to the hotel, so as to decide if 100% of the reservation will be charged or just a portion of it.

  • All rates are in USD and include sales tax and hotel tax of 13%
  • Rates applicable based on occupancy
  • Room rates are commissionable by 25% for individuals and 30% for groups, groups are considered 5 double occupancy rooms or more.
  • Additional person rate is net non commissionable, up to 4 people.
  • The surcharge rate for Guide a Chauffer is net per night and includes breakfast. They receive a 50% discount of food services.
  • Rate is per room per night and includes: Welcome cocktail, daily breakfast and access to the heated waters and sauna at our Green Spa.
  • Children policy: Children ages 0 to 5 receive complimentary lodging and breakfast when staying with at least 1 adult. Children ages 6 to 11 years have an additional charge of $ 10.00 per child / per night.
  • Check in time is at 14.00 hours and check out time is at 12.00 hours. The hotel will do everything possible to respond to early arrival and late checkout requests. A special luggage deposit is always available.
  • For Peak Season Easter Week, Christmas and New Years a minimum of 2 nights is required.
  • The rates are subject to changes due to new governmental taxes or increments.

Group Policies

  • Groups are considered to consist of 5 double occupancy rooms or more.
  • Courtesy rooms are provided for guide and chauffer with breakfast included.
  • Free welcome cocktail
  • 50% discount on food and beverage services for the guide and chauffer
  • Free food service for the guide and chauffer when the group includes meals at the hotel
  • In the event a second room is needed, the regular $30.00 rate with be charged.
  • All food and beverage rates are net and non-commissionable
  • Meals include an appetizer, main dish, non-alcoholic beverage, dessert and coffee.
  • Children from 0 to 11 years pay 50% of the rate.
  • Special menus will be quoted upon request according to the clients specifications.
  • Add $4.00 to include a glass of wine or beer to the menu, tax included
  • Box lunch includes a bottle of water, juice, cookie, fruit and a sandwich (chicken, ham, cheese or tuna)
  • Mandatory Christmas and New Years Dinner.

TOURS & ONE DAY COMBOS

  • All tours operate with a minimum of 2 people.
  • All rates for the national park hikes include a local guide that can take groups of 10 people maximum.

Cancellation Policies

  • Fit´s: Cancellations with 48 hours or less prior to tour, 100% penalty.
  • Groups: Cancellations with 7 days prior to tour 100% penalty.
